On November 1, 2023, Mr. Daniel Stine from Lake Flato Architects will give a guest lecture on Building Performance Simulation with Revit to Gadjah Mada University.

On October 12, 2023, Professor Michael Ermann from Virginia Tech gave a guest lecture on Auditorium Acoustic Design to Chulalongkorn University. Around 100 people, including students and faculty from Chulalongkorn University and local practicing architects joined this web meeting.

On October 26, 2023, Dr. Benjamin Futrell from UNC Charlotte gave a guest lecture on Dynamic Facade and Daylighting to Chulalongkorn University. About 65 people, including students and faculty from Chulalongkorn University and local practicing architects joined this web meeting.

On October 23, 2023, Dr. Weimin Wang will provide a guest lecture on Energy Efficiency Strategies for Hotels to Gadjah Mada University. The audience will be the 3rd-year undergraduate students taking the Comprehensive Technology Studio.

On September 24, 2023, Dr. Kyoung-Hee Kim will provide a guest lecture on Sustainable Facades to Gadjah Mada University. The audience will be the 3rd-year undergraduate students taking the Comprehensive Technology Studio.

US-ASEAN Smart Cities Partnership (USASCP) will host an integrated, multi-partner symposium entitled Accelerating Science, Technology and Circular Innovation in Southeast Asia in Jakarta, Indonesia from September 5-7, 2023. Dr. Weimin Wang and Dr. Kyoung-Hee Kim will remotely present “Green Buildings:  Lifecycle Assessment and Net-Zero Innovation”.

IBPSA-USA will host the SimBuild 2024 conference in Denver, Colorado from May 21st to 23rd, 2024. SimBuild 2024 marks the 20th anniversary of the first SimBuild conference, held in 2004. The theme of the conference is “Celebrating Two Decades of SimBuild.” Dr. Weimin Wang is honored to serve on the Scientific Committee.

The Decarbonization Conference for the Built Environment will be held in Washington DC from October 25-27.
